I have always felt connected to both my love of Judaism as well as art. The product of both passions, is The Modest Moon; innspired by Agaddic text from the fourth day of creation (Genesis 16-18), The Modest Moon is one-of-a-kind. It is crafted to entice, entertain and educate both the child and his/her parent. The book impresses upon the importance of humility, while the reader also has the opportunity to learn the blessing of the new moon (Kiddush Levana).  I include the abridged version of the blessing, with the hope that the young reader will be able to incorporate into their monthly practice.
